Huyton, Merseyside. UK
Since taking part in NCS in 2015 with local provider Everton FC, Hannah has stayed involved with NCS – a decision that has given her access to a whole host of opportunities.
She was selected to be an NCS Leader in October 2015 – just one of 100 graduates from across the country who took part in a residential week of leadership-themed sessions delivered by top businesses and community experts, including Downing Street, Google, Just Giving and the Cabinet Office. She has also stayed involved with Everton FC, volunteering on NCS programmes and with the football club’s community outreach charity. She is a committed member of the NCS regional youth board for Merseyside and Cheshire, and was even lucky enough to appear in our recent TV ad!
“[Filming the NCS TV ad] was an experience that I will never forget and I’m very honoured to have been a part of it! Not only has it allowed me to promote something which I’m very passionate about, but I also got to meet Emily Canham, Ali-A and Suli Breaks, who I have been watching [on YouTube] for many years now!
I thoroughly enjoyed getting to see what happens behind the scenes of filming an advert, and all the hard work that goes into it. I have to say, I did enjoy having my makeup done like a star! I’m so pleased with how well the campaign is going and I can’t wait to see more people doing NCS this summer.”
